We'll let you know about our 6 apprenticeship development programmes and all of these will be delivered over a 14-18 month period. Our programmes offer plenty of support, tutorials, online support and reading lists available throughout.

It will result in the learner achieving a nationally recognised qualification as well as a management apprenticeship. For an outline of each programme, click on the title below:

Why Should You Attend?

Staff in the current climate need to be self-aware, able to both challenge and empower the people they work with, know their values and behave with integrity to engender trust. They need to improve processes to increase productivity and efficiency, reduce time wasting activities, remove waste and embrace digital solutions in a world of change. All this and more are covered in our apprenticeship development programmes.

Who Should Attend?

If you are a Levy payer, you'll be able to use funds in your DAS account to pay for the programme. What's more if you have used it all up, the government will award you additional funding as follows:

Co-investment rates (Levy Payers)
When your levy funds run out, you’ll pay:

  • 5% for apprenticeship starts up to and including 31 July 2026, with the government paying 95%
  • 25% for apprenticeship starts from 1 August 2026, with the government paying 75%

If you are a non-Levy payer, you'll be pleased to learn that you are able to access 95% funding leaving you only 5% to pay for learners enrolled on programmes. From 1st August 2026, for learners under 25yrs old, the government will fund 100% of the cost.

The broad purpose of the Associate Project Manager is to contribute to the successful delivery of a project, ensuring its scope and benefits are achieved as planned. They do this primarily by identifying, resourcing, scheduling, and monitoring the activities that need to happen in a certain sequence and timescale. They monitor the project objectives and milestones and adjust plans in accordance with evolving circumstances.

Delivered in-person over 16-18 months via 31 x half-day training sessions, this programme is designed for existing and/or aspiring improvement practitioner that need to lead small improvement projects to successful conclusion. Improvement practitioners use a blend of Lean and Six Sigma, project and change management principles and tools to identify and lead the delivery of change across organisational functions and processes.

Delivered in-person over 17-20 months via 39 x half-day training sessions, this programme is designed for middle/senior managers that have an operational area or department with a workforce to lead, manage and support The ILM Level 5 Award in Leadership & Management will be embedded on-programme as learners develop their interpersonal skills; operational and project management skills and personal effectiveness to achieve the Level 5 Operations Manager Apprenticeship.​

This standard was "defunded" by the Department for Education on 17/03/26. We have designed two options to replace this. Delivered in-person over 16-18 months via 38 x half-day training sessions, this programme is designed for existing and/or aspiring team leaders. This programme recognises the need for management skills such as allocating work, setting targets & maintaining performance, but it also seeks to develop leadership skills of developing and improving staff. Learners will achieve the Level 3 Improvement Technician Standard. The ILM Level 3 Certificate in Leadership & Management Skills will be embedded on-programme.

Delivered in-person over 18-22 months via 43 x half-day training sessions, this programme is designed for middle/senior managers that have an operational area or department with a workforce to lead, manage & support. They lead & manage teams in a variety of settings, including high volume manufacturing, engineering and/or smaller production operations. Learners will achieve the Process Leader Standard. The ILM Level 5 Certificate in Operational Leadership & Management Skills will be embedded on-programme.

This apprenticeship standard works as an in-house programme so that a group of learners can be developed in early lean principles and knowledge that links them back to the policies and processes of their organisation for a safe and compliant working environment. A minimum of 6 learners is needed to deliver this programme in-house. Learners will achieve the Lean Manufacturing Operative standard and the City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Lean Manufacturing.
